Prayers Before Dawn is a literary community discussing texts on spirituality, ecology, and healing written by Black, Indigenous, and POC authors.

The Prayers Before Dawn Bookclub will meet twice a month on Sundays at 12pm EST beginning March 24th.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. How much does it cost to join the Prayers Before Dawn Bookclub?

    Nothing! Meetings are free, though an occasional donation to Heritage is certainly welcomed and encouraged.

  2. When do meetings start?

    The first bookclub meeting will be held on March 24th, Palm Sunday & the first official Sunday of spring. You are welcome to join at any point throughout the course of the year. Past passages are available upon request.

  3. Are meetings in person or online?

    Meetings will be held primarily online, though occasional pop-ups in person are a possibility.

  4. I’m not BIPOC, can I still join the club?

    Absolutely, we only ask that you are respectful of those around you and their voices.
